Friday, November 14th, SmARTs will offer the following specials…For our visitor’s convenience; a free tram service will be available. It will continuously loop from the shops at Smithfield Station, travel up Church Street, make its way down Main Street, and return to Smithfield Station. We’re also introducing the “Porker Run” this month. Here’s how it works: playing cards will be available at five randomly selected SmARTs merchants/attractions in one of the five downtown areas (100, 200 and 300 blocks of Main Street, the corner of Church & Main, and the Boardwalk Shops at Smithfield Station). Visitors will collect all five cards and turn them in at either the Smithfield Visitor Center (335 Main Street) or Victoria’s Rose at the Boardwalk Shops to enter to win our grand prize – a fully-cooked Smithfield Country-style Ham! You do not need to be present to win.) Candle-lit luminaries will add a beautiful glow to the streets of Downtown Smithfield and Christmas Carolers and music piped into the streets will add to the festive atmosphere.
The weather cooperated and visitors enjoyed strolling the streets and visiting the shops of downtown.
